Catface Mountain

Like a lens zeroing in on a central theme, this drawing portrays a close-up view of the unresolved wound. It reminds me of a cat's face or mountain, and hence its name. Much anger and intensity of emotion are articulated here. Yet, in its playful, free expression, this sketch asserts that trauma is not solely about distress.
